  Love spotlight but have taken two stars off as I am more interested in the area of "scrapping", art journalling, painting and mixed media the department has really gone downhill on the last few years. Stock stagnates on shelves with little change to them. Even after an item has been there for over a year their sale price is still expensive. Visited yesterday and if you are looking for Tim Holtz ( limited choice),you will find some goodies. If you are looking for the new cricut, big shot you have plenty on the shelves. Rather a shame that Spotlight Capalaba can no longer be a one stop to get materials with only 3 aisles (small) with a mish mash of products. I would prefer to buy within my community but have to drive over 10kms one way to find anything descent.
  However for materials,and all habidashery great choices with good prices . Household has good choices love their sheets and doonas, great bargains can be found in that area. The party area seems to have a good amount of choices starting from invitations, balloons and all that you require . A bit more expensive than your two dollar shops . All in all great shop just not for art materials like a few years ago.

  There are only a few stores I enjoy spending a lengthy time in, Bunnings is one, officeworks another... And spotlight..
  
  Sure I'm a big burly bloke (who likes alliteration) but when I want to get my "craft" on... Or my wife wants to Sew something awesome... We go here.
  
  Friendly staff with great advice, and SO MUCH stuff... Some is a "bit" pricey... but it's going to happen.
  
  But definitely worth a look.

  Standard spotlight store but staff were hard to find and not so helpful. They always seem busy and understaffed. Good sales however

  I don't go here often, each time I've visited, the prices are wrong, I always end up paying a higher price than what's listed on the shelf. The place is a bit unorganized in appearance. I've never had a staff member ask if they could help me find anything and when I approached them, they have said "oh that's over there" and just pointed in a direction, then walked away from me.
